In Mourning ...

"I was awakened to the sad news that a baby I changed and held, passed away this morning. This child was full of smiles. I called him Baby Joy. I'm pretty shook up right now. He was just 6 months old. He was negative. We don't know why he died. I'm at a loss for words...." (Contents by Sydney Harrison/TN)

  1. Awe, I just don't know what to say other than how sad that is. But, that child is in the arms of Jesus and I can't even wrap that around my head how beautiful that must be !!!! Just keep praying for these kids with all your heart and soul. God will bless you so much . And keep remebering all the smiles that child gave you and how he could smile at all is just a miracle !!! God bless.. Praying for you !!!

  2. Sydney, your short presence in the child's life and conviction to making a difference I am certain has already done so. He is resting with a warm heart knowing that a loving stranger cared enough to travel many miles over the ocean to be with him and the other children. This expression of love is comforting even in death, especially in death. Be left with memories of his heart beating in your arms against your chest. Be strengthened by the thought that you are placed there for a greater purpose that is expressed by the wide white eyes and smiles of the children when they look at you without you knowing what is in their thoughts. That is exactly what should make you strong and comfort you. To them you might just be their Angel through which their short lives are blessed. Be strong and allow us to touch all of the children through you. The one that passed lives through those that are alive, continue caring for them as you did for Baby Joy, for you are indeed their hero and ours as well!

"That story so saddens me, the only bright side is that the LORD accepts them in to HEAVEN with open arms. None of the worries we deal with from day to day will ever bother this child again. Shalom to all involved."

"That's really sad. It's always sad to us when God sends a child for such a short stay here on earth. That baby certainly made an impact based on your update. God bless Baby Joy and Veronica's Story." Peace~
